If this doesn't excite even the least tech oriented internet consumer, nothing will. South Africa has for too long been slowed down by the poor service and poor pricing structure of a certain Telkommunications provider. But Neotel, a subsidiary of TATA and other indian conglomerates, has come to the rescue. Cape Town, Durban and Jo'burg are already basking in the wonder of Neotel. To explain the Neotel concept: It is a wireless device, much like the iBurst device. It receives a signal like a cellphone into your home/office and is bring rates and speeds far better than Telkom has been offering. For some of the devices you would plug in via a LAN (Local access network) cable, and others have WLAN (Wireless local access network) capabilities. Just check out these fantastic rates:
Here's a look at their most expensive package on LITE... R469.00 per month This give you UNLIMITED data and you get the device included. Speeds up to 156kbps (This is a basic internet speed)
Here's a look at their most expensive package on PRIME... R999.00 per month This give you UNLIMITED data and you get the device included. Speeds up to 2.4Mbps (This is a speed which is more acceptable to what is available in other markets)
NeoFlex Data: Here's a look at their most expensive package on NeoFlex Data... R899.00 per month This give you 15GB data and you get the device included (which supports WiFi). Speeds up to 3.1Mbps (This is a relatively fast speed)
The difference between these packages is the speed. No matter what you pick, it is far greater value than what we have received in the past. Now lets see if they can back their fantastic products with good service...
