Maemo, a new operating system for mobile phones. In true Nokia fashion, they are leading the way with something different. As far as I know, Nokia are yet to come up with a Windows Mobile or even an Android phone. They really do like going the road less travelled.

So Maemo is quite new and a bit glitchy, but it sure is a breathe of fresh air from the same old, same old. It seems to handle some serious connectivity hardware and more. Not surprising since it's based on the Linux Kernel.
