Nokia may not be topping the charts with the price to value ratio on their high-end devices, but they definitely are doing something right with the lower bracket offerings.

The 2710, is a prime example. Its a modest phone with no frills. A regular chocolate bar shaped device with a normal phone appearance. None of the latest extreme attributes like full-touch, stylus or slide-out keyboards. So it'll suite the older generation who like the all-in-one device idea but can't get the hang of "these touch screens of today".

Mind you, I work at Nashua Mobile [a technology business] and the folks here still can't get into the iPhone (the best phone in the world).

So back to the 2710. It packs a 3.5mm jack so you can use any regular set of headphones (Grandad, that means you can use it as a walkman), EDGE (That's for the "interweb"), 2MP camera, RDS Radio, full GPS navigation via OVI maps (I cannot confirm but it may be voice guided, but it's definitely turn-by-turn) [Latest: The chappie at Full Signal South Africa, Herman Pretorius, has confirmed that the 2710 DOES have turn-by-turn voice guided navigation - thanks This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The 2710 is rugged, compact and it will help you find your way. And it's as cheap as chips! (As my granny would say)
